Over the past two decades the Management Liability Market has experienced many changes -- changes in exposure, changes in pricing, changes in standard policy language, changes in average litigation costs and, unfortunately for the customer, changes in the number of Insurance Companies willing and able to compete and ultimately survive in this arena. In an all-too-frequent occurrence, "new" Management Liability Insurers enter the market and promise the world to the client but ultimately don't deliver. We here at Great American Insurance Group's Executive Liability Division (ELD) are proud to say that we are one of the VERY FEW insurers that have been there for the management liability customer through all of the market's changes over the years. Founded in 1986, the ELD has continued to strive to meet the changing needs of our customers while maintaining the underwriting discipline necessary to ensure that we will continue to be there in the long run.
